Terms of service
1. Who we are
amandos.co.uk is run by Marius Dirzys, a sole trader trading as Amandos, of 49 Kent Road, Huntingdon, PE29 7JG, United Kingdom. You can contact us at store@amandos.co.uk.
These terms apply to every order placed on this website. Please read them, together with our refund policy, shipping policy and privacy policy, before you order.
2. Your order
When you place an order you will receive an email confirming that we have received it. The contract between us is formed when we email you to say your order has been dispatched. If we cannot accept your order — for example because a piece has sold out — we will tell you and you will not be charged, or we will refund you in full.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added. Delivery charges, if any, are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken when you place your order.
If we make an obvious mistake in a price, we will contact you before dispatching and you can choose to go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
4. The pieces
We describe and photograph every piece as accurately as we can, including its materials and measurements. Colours can look slightly different on different screens, and measurements are approximate to within a millimetre or two.
5. Delivery
We deliver to Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) only; we cannot currently deliver to Northern Ireland. Delivery options and times are set out in our shipping policy. Responsibility for your order passes to you when it is delivered to the address you gave us.
6. Changing your mind
You can cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. How to do this, who pays for return postage, and how refunds work are set out in our refund policy.
7. Faulty pieces and your legal rights
We are under a legal duty to supply pieces that are as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If something is faulty, see our refund policy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
8. Our responsibility to you
If we fail to keep to these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that failure, up to the price you paid for the order. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
9. Your information
We use your personal information only as set out in our privacy policy.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in the courts of your home nation. If you have a complaint, please email us first — we will try to put it right.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones on this page when you placed it.
